Xanadu is a New Zealand–based niche BJJ brand founded by grappler Levi Jones-Leary, whose childhood nickname “Xanadu” inspired the label’s name. The brand blends martial arts with lifestyle influences and carries an artistic, almost surreal edge. Xanadu produces limited-edition gis, rashguards, shorts and apparel that take cues from streetwear and independent fashion. Instead of following traditional fightwear aesthetics, the brand experiments with bold designs and cultural references. Though small in scale, Xanadu has gained recognition for pushing beyond functional gear, positioning itself as part of a cultural movement as much as a sports label.
